Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

I finally decided to stop in and eat at China King Buffet for lunch. I was greeted when I walked in and shown to a table and asked what I would like to drink and to go enjoy the buffet. I enjoyed the Sushi! They have so much food to choose from. It reminds me a bit like Panda but you have way more choices and its buffet and its well worth the cost. I've eaten at a couple of buffet places in the past and this was pretty good and the place was clean and so many workers making sure the food was filled and area wiped up and it was nice. They have so many desserts too. I would eat there again for sure.

We've been going here since 2003. Great food and a family business. Food is always fresh. A good buffet at a reasonable price.

Hmm...some of these reviews are shady to me. Some of them sound like they are coming from the same group of people... I've gone to China King since 2007, many many times I still go here & I'm extremely cautious & picky as to where I eat out. NEVER in 5 years of going to this restaurant have I EVER seen a server laugh at a mentally/physically handicapped person! That is absolutely horrible to lie about. If I had ever or do ever see someone disrespecting anyone there I would not be afraid to say something. I've been there probably a hundred times over the past 5 years & never have I seen anything like that. The servers don't really speak English, they're Asian, but all they do is bring/refill drinks & take plates away so it's not a huge deal. The people who greet you at the door & seat you are usually pretty nice & inviting, but the servers just hurry & do their jobs. They're not rude though. The buffet isn't huge, they have sushi, fruit, hard-boiled eggs, Chinese food & some basics like chicken nuggets & fries. They have some soups (won ton soup, egg drop soup) & then there's the grill. They have steak, shrimp, chicken (not sure of everything they offer) & some vegetables & eggs to grill up with the sauce of your choice to go with it. They grill it right there in front of you & you take it back to your table. It's always good. As I've said a couple times already - I've gone here at least a hundred times in 5 years, I've NEVER gotten food poisoning (I definitely know what food poisoning is, I've had it twice in my life, it's miserable) from China King, never been sick. I did see someone mentioned they were "gassy" after eating here. It is Asian food & there are lots of carbs in the food, so maybe that's why. Also, if they eat eggs while there that can cause it, as well. You get "gassy" from potatoes also, & you get "gassy" depending on what you eat at plenty of places. All depends on what you eat. That's common sense. As for the cleanliness, I've never seen anything that would make me think they are unclean. The tables & seats are always wiped down, I never see dust, they vacuum & wipe everything down. They have an 'A' as the overall rating, you can see it posted in the restaurant. I'm personally someone who cares very, very much about cleanliness/sanitation, so if I thought for a split second they were maybe dirty I wouldn't be going there EVER again. Lastly, the price is extremely reasonable. $10 at night time for the buffet, it's like $7 or $8 during lunch hours I believe. Give it a chance before crossing it off your list. I really like them & so do tons of people I know from the area.

This place used to be the best Chinese Buffet in Lenoir City, which wasn't saying much. The food is not always fresh. Not a large selection. I have gotten a stomach ache multiple times from eating there. Considering there is a Panda Buffet a mile down the road that has twice the selection and food that is actually fresh, there is no reason to go here anymore.

Pretty big buffet for a town this size. I didn't see any illegal Mexicans working when we were there - a big difference in this area. Food was good, selection was good, sushi was hand-rolled on site, price was more than fair. It may be unrelated, but we had a similar experience as Justin - some gastric distress later in the day. Not bad just not great.

I've gone to this restaurant with my family on 90% of Sunday's from 2003 until now. I love this place and it has an amazing selection. The workers are incredibly friendly and polite, they don't talk much but they do their job (I.e. place fresh food, take plates when needed, always prompt on refills). The food is always fresh when I go and they keep their bars clean. They have sushi and a grill that is excellent as well. I gave it a 4 star because it's a bit muggy inside and the bathrooms are nearly awful. I have no complaints about food though. Never had an upset stomach or anything.

We were a bit dubious reading the reviews but we were hungry and had just moved to the area. Stopped in for lunch.. what an amazing deal! Everything was hot and cooked well, not a 5 star but hey still good. Definitely a future lunch stop for us!

Amazingly low price on good Asian food! We were pleasantly surprised! Not fancy, but worth every penny. All you can eat sushi and chinese buffet plus desserts. We paid only$ 6.25 per person for lunch. My hubby loved the sushi...I don't eat sushi. But he said it was great. Normally, in Knoxville area, a buffet and sushi place like this costs about$ 20 per person. Friendly staff. Clean. Definitely recommend! !
